Raja, V. Ravichandran, begins the story with a high-octane bike race that puts his skill and grit on full display. He faces every obstacle head-on, outmaneuvers his rivals, and crosses the finish line victorious, establishing him as a fearless and capable young man from the very first scene.

He lives in a sprawling, loving family setup with his parents, Sathya and Mahalakshmi, along with a wide circle of relatives, including his uncle and family friends. The household operates like one big unit, filled with warmth, shared meals, and mutual care, and the strong sense of family ties informs much of the film’s emotional core.

Chandana, who hails from Mangalore, arrives in Raja’s life after moving to Bangalore to pursue pilot training. She stays as a guest at Raja’s home, and her presence quickly bonds with the family. As days pass, Chandana and Raja grow closer, their companionship evolving into romance as they navigate the new, blended dynamic of two families who begin to care for each other deeply.

A crucial backstory unfolds through a flashback: Bhavani, Sathya’s sister and Chandana’s mother, had married Chandana’s father against Sathya’s wishes. This union created a deep-seated tension within Sathya, and he is shown to have harbored resentment stemming from that past, which strains the present-day relationships between the two households.

Back in the present, old grudges flare into new trouble. Chandana’s father, seeking to control the match, arranges for his daughter to marry another man. Feeling that Raja cannot intervene in the arranged plan, Chandana makes a desperate choice and consumes poison in a moment of despair. The crisis triggers a dramatic rescue: Raja storms Chandana’s house, fights off the goons hired to enforce the arranged marriage, and escapes with Chandana, determined to keep her safe.

Chandana’s poisoning takes a toll, and she vomits blood as her condition darkens. She is rushed to the hospital, where the families gather outside the operating theatre and wait with bated breath. In that tense, pivotal moment, they confront their past mistakes, put aside their grievances, and choose forgiveness. The realization that love and family come first leads them to approve Raja and Chandana’s union, despite the earlier threats and betrayals.

The film ends on a hopeful note: Chandana emerges from the operating theatre healed, and she shares a heartfelt hug with Raja, symbolizing a renewed sense of harmony and a future built on love and reconciliation.
