What Is Pentecost About?

Set in 1977 Ireland, eleven‑year‑old Damian Lynch is summoned at the last minute to serve as altar boy for a crucial parish mass. After an earlier mishap that earned him a three‑month ban from his beloved football, his father promises a ticket to Liverpool FC’s first European Cup final if Damian fulfills his duties properly. Damian must choose between obedience and losing his chance to watch his team play.
