Parthan Jayaram lives in the quiet Krishnapuram village, where clashes with his uncle Falgunan Thampy Jagathy Sreekumar, the Panchayath President, are common. Falgunan, who also chairs the temple’s ruling committee, is convinced the temple assets should belong to his family, and he uses his power to keep the temple locked while a court fights over ownership. Parthan, along with his friends Sulaiman Kottayam Nazeer and Poonkodi Sona Nair, argues that the temple truly belongs to the village and should serve everyone.
Into this charged atmosphere enters Falgunan’s daughter Sathyabhama Sreedevika, an advocate who pretends to be in love with Parthan in order to help her father win the case. Her real aim is to influence the court in favor of the temple’s ownership by her family. Parthan’s agitation over the situation lands him in trouble, and he is sentenced to a month in prison for contempt of court.
When Parthan is released, a dramatic turn of events changes everything. He nearly dies after consuming counterfeit liquor in Guruvayoor; the emergency is so grave that he is carried to the mortuary, presumed dead, before a miraculous revival occurs. In this moment, the deity seems to intervene as Lord Krishna manifests in the form of Madhavan Mukesh, a clever ally who pretends to be Parthan’s college friend. Together they challenge Falgunan’s schemes and set out to clear Parthan’s name and restore balance in the village. Sathyabhama sees the innocence of Parthan and the malice of her father, and her feelings shift as she falls for Parthan.
The crisis deepens when Veerabhadran, known as Musafir Kalabhavan Mani, arrives with a plan to steal the Krishnan idol from Krishnapuram Temple, aiming to destabilize communal harmony. Parthan resolutely confronts the threat, with Madhavan’s aid, defending the village and its fragile peace from disaster.
In the end, love and justice prevail: Parthan and Sathyabhama are united in marriage, and the village’s old conflict softens in the light of a shared future.
