In the quiet coastal town of Camiguin, Aileen and Romina, who are half-sisters, join forces with their first cousins Sandra and Ruth for a somber family gathering: the burial of their grandmother. They are not alone in this return to family roots, as Sandra’s friend Lucy accompanies them, bringing a mix of curiosity and nerves to the reunion. Old memories resurface as the group kinds through the attic and keepsakes, until a brittle old Ouija board from their childhood is rediscovered, sparking a reckless dare to contact the dead.

What begins as a reckless game quickly spirals into a nightmare. To survive, the girls must identify the spirit and locate where it is buried. Their only path to safety lies in guiding the haunting to a rightful burial ground, releasing it from the Ouija board’s grip, and breaking the cycle of death it imposes on them. The haunting leads them to the ghost of a girl named Magda the Snake—so nicknamed because she was born with skin like a snake—whose presence has lingered beneath the sea. By uncovering Magda’s corpse underwater and enlisting the help of a priest, they manage to free Magda’s tormented spirit, hoping to end the terror.

Magda’s backstory reveals a deeper tragedy: she was murdered by her envious twin sister Melda, a crime rooted in parental favoritism and jealousy. The sisters’ bitter history casts a long shadow over the living, and as Magda’s spirit is freed, it becomes clear that Melda’s anger is the true danger. Ironically, Magda’s presence had been a protective force for the girls, shielding them from Melda, and with Magda released, that protection dissolves. The haunting shift leaves Melda unbound, and the final reckoning arrives as Melda’s vengeful spirit preys on each of the girls, leading to a devastating conclusion where Melda claims the lives of every one of them.

This story moves between reunions, fear, and the heavy weight of past choices, weaving a tense supernatural thriller where the line between protector and predator blurs, and where the cost of curiosity is measured in lives.
