Aditya Sharma and Neha Kasliwal are a couple who navigate a delicate line between romance and family expectations. As they lean toward that kiss, a man appears at the car window, abruptly interrupting the moment with a phone in hand and a recorded boast. He introduces himself as Mangesh Jadhav, a self-styled Sub-Inspector, and he is accompanied by his junior officer, Patil. What begins as a purported police encounter quickly spirals into a coercive encounter that weaponizes fear and shame. They accuse the couple of public indecency and threaten arrest, dragging two conservative families into a spotlight neither was ready to face.

The encounter grows increasingly invasive. Mangesh begins to verbally harass Neha, preying on her dignity and injecting a disturbing mix of power and sexuality into the situation. Aditya is caught between his desire to protect Neha and the frightening sense that they are powerless against two men who claim authority. The officers insist on a bribe as the price of their “freedom,” demanding ₹35,000. At one point, Aditya loses his temper and physically pushes the supposed officer, triggering a furious, manipulative response from Mangesh. With the truth out in the open, Aditya returns to Neha at her college. He openheartedly recounts the lengths he went to in what he believed was an attempt to “prove his manhood.” Neha is relieved to hear him speak honestly, and she approaches the moment with measured caution and a readiness to forgive. Yet when the moment arrives to answer the deeper question about what could have happened, the conversation takes a difficult turn.
