What Is Oh, to Be on the Bandwagon! About?
The premise of Oh, to Be on the Bandwagon! without spoilers.
A poetic portrait by Benny Andersen of patrons of the Strudsen bar, nicknamed “the ostrich,” who hide behind routine while clutching secret dreams. The timid manager longs to own his own bar, the butcher aspires to opera, the window‑polisher loves the barmaid in silence, and the pianist listens to each yearning. Director Henning Carlsen shapes it as his finest work since Sult.
