In this high-stakes martial-arts crime epic, the powerful Triad factions collide as White Tiger and Green Dragon feud for Yuk-fung’s favor, a rivalry that spirals into brutal enmity. White Tiger abducts Prince and spins a cruel lie—that Dragon stole his mother—setting Prince on a lifetime path of vengeance. Raised under Tiger’s control, Prince is groomed to be a ruthless killer, his sole mission to defeat Dragon and rescue his mother, a quest that darkens every step he takes.

Prince, Jacky Cheung, finally gets a moment to strike at Dragon, but destiny intervenes the moment he locks eyes with Tweedy, Rosamund Kwan Chi-Lam, the woman of his dreams. The sight jolts him off course, breaking a hard-won reputation for never making mistakes on missions and throwing his confidence into a dangerous tailspin. His trusted ally and confidante, Ching-ching, Carina Lau, who loves him deeply, arranges for Tweedy to disappear temporarily for his sake, hoping to spare his heartache. Yet Prince misreads the move and convinces himself that Ching-ching betrayed him and killed Tweedy, pushing him toward despair and heavy drinking.

As the truth edges closer to the surface, Tiger drags Dragon into a tense confrontation, insisting that Prince is in fact Dragon’s son—an accusation that stirs old resentments and fuels a dangerous clash of loyalties. In the heat of battle, Ching-ching is shot and killed by Tiger, a sacrifice meant to shield Prince from further harm. Grief-stricken, Prince carries Ching-ching away and is haunted by a memory of her asking whether he would cry if she died, a question that gnaws at him as the sun slowly sets on their fractured world.

In the aftermath, Tweedy reveals to Prince that Ching-ching entrusted her with one crucial instruction: do not meet Prince again until he has killed Dragon. The revelation lingers as Prince sits in sighs and silence, sharing the moment with Tweedy as the day fades, a quiet, aching counterpoint to the violence that defined his life. The film explores themes of lineage, loyalty, and the heavy price of vengeance, painting a portrait of a man torn between blood ties, romantic longing, and the brutal duties of a life spent in the shadows of the Triads.
