The Stooges model as Japanese soldiers. On lunch break they sit in a restaurant in uniform, and the owner thinks they’re troops, sparking a chase that ends with a fall. They drop into a Nazi spy ring mistaking them for saboteurs Naki, Saki and Waki. When the saboteurs appear, the impostors are exposed and a fight ends with Stooges capturing Axis spies.

The Stooges — [Moe Howard], [Larry Fine], and [Curly Howard] — tumble into a flurry of comic misadventures when their boss asks them to keep their bright yellowface costumes on during a rushed lunch-break photo shoot meant to depict Japanese soldiers.
They wander into a restaurant, where the anxious owner, spooked by a newspaper headline about three escaped Japanese soldiers, mistakes the trio for the real thing. They slip out in a hurry and scurry into an alley, where a hidden door leads them to the hidden lair of Hugo, the Nazi spy, [Vernon Dent].
Mistaken for the escaped soldiers, Hugo schemes to use the Stooges to impress his cohorts. The trio, eager to prove themselves, dive into a cascade of slapstick antics—teaching jujitsu to women and pulling off acrobatic stunts—while trying to stay in character and keep their costumes intact.
The situation compounds when the actual Japanese soldiers arrive, and a chaotic confrontation erupts under flickering lights, distorting what’s real and who’s who. Through a maelstrom of pratfalls, quick improvisations, and comic misreads, the Stooges turn the tide, emerging triumphant not by precision but by a stubborn, goofy persistence—proof that in this whirlwind of confusion, their teamwork and timing somehow carry them through.
