Inspector Jai Ajay Devgn is an upright and fearless cop whose dedication to justice sets the tone for a high-stakes pursuit. He is assigned to dismantle the criminal empire led by Raj Solanki, Naseeruddin Shah. He teams up with Inspector Sandhya Juhi Chawla Mehta, and together they move to take down Raj’s operation with focus, strategy, and grit.
Raj, who does not want his son to follow in his footsteps, also senses trouble brewing within his inner circle. He tries to halt Jai’s advance without resorting to brutality, weighing his methods as his empire strains under pressure. The tension sharpens when Raj encounters Jai’s mother, Reema Lagoo, and the truth surfaces: Jai is his son. That revelation places him in a real tight spot, torn between family ties and the world he has built.
Jai’s mother isn’t happy about his mission to topple Raj, yet Jai remains determined. The discovery of their kinship adds emotional weight to the pursuit, but it does not derail Jai’s commitment to the case. The clash between duty and family loyalty intensifies as Jai presses forward, even as Raj wrestles with the implications of the revelation.
Meanwhile, Raj’s legitimate son, Deepak Solanki, Deepak Tijori, and Raj’s minion, Gulshan Grover as David, set out to take Jai down through separate schemes, each pursuing their own version of power while remaining unaware of the secret at the heart of the conflict.
As the story unfolds, the narrative threads converge, exploring themes of duty, loyalty, and the costs of power. The ending—laden with revelations about family and identity—becomes the driving force of the plot, pushing the characters toward a final confrontation that tests loyalties and reshapes their lives.
