Ganesh is an extremely selfish man who lives and works in Malaysia, quietly shaping his world around his own comfort and clever schemes. His routine life takes an unexpected turn when a young woman enters his orbit: Krishnaveni, whose arrival stirs something unfamiliar in him. She is in love with Kishore, and for that reason she runs away from home, despite her father’s stern objections. Her elopement sets off a chain of choices and misjudgments that push the story into motion, with the family’s disapproval and the lure of escape playing backdrop to every decision.

When Kishore doesn’t show up, Krishnaveni feels betrayed, and Ganesh’s self-serving instincts take over. He deceives her and drags her to her father, Naidu, in Malaysia, hoping to leverage the situation for financial gain. The move is reckless and reveals a stark truth about his character: his priorities are money and convenience, not trust or loyalty. Yet, as soon as he sees the impact of his actions on Naidu and the people around him, a flicker of responsibility begins to reshape his plans. He brings Krishnaveni back to Malaysia, and the relationship that follows starts to shift under the weight of new circumstances.

As Krishnaveni rebuilds her life with his support, a genuine bond starts to form between them, moving beyond the initial infatuation. What once began as a selfish maneuver gradually deepens into something more sincere, and a quiet, hopeful connection begins to bloom between the two. At the same time, Kishore re-enters the picture, desperate to win back Krishnaveni’s love, adding tension and a competing emotional pull to the story. The rivalry between old desires and new loyalties drives the pace and complicates every choice they face.

Naidu, furious about how events unfolded, turns to a ruthless plan by enlisting Malaysia’s underworld figure Salim Bhai to trap Ganesh. The machinations grow complex as Ganesh uses all his guile to thwart Salim Bhai and keep Kishore away from the path to Krishnaveni’s heart. Each maneuver reveals new facets of the characters: the protagonist’s roughened conscience, the stubborn pride of the father, and the fragile trust that Krishnaveni begins to place in the man she has come to care for.
