Farhan Ahmed Fahad Mustafa works as a sales representative at IFU Life Insurance in Karachi, but after a year of struggling to close any deal, he is fired. Moon Mohsin Abbas Haider hails from Faisalabad and dreams of Dubai, yet he ends up in Karachi, while his family clings to the belief that he’s already there. Shakeel Ansari Javed Sheikh is an honest government employee who runs a homemade pickle business called “Shama Achar.” He is under pressure to marry off his younger sister Naina Urwa Hocane, though his heart is torn between family duty and the financial strain that makes such a match difficult. Farhan is staying as a paying guest with Shakeel and quietly carries a crush on Naina, which adds emotional tension to their already precarious plans.

Moon becomes Shakeel’s new tenant after being kicked out by his landlady, and with no steady income, Farhan and Moon hatch a reckless scheme: they aim to take out a life insurance policy and, during a Karachi strike, burn a bank to stage a fake claim. The idea is to secure money through deception, a plan born out of desperation and a sense that life has handed them few real options. Meanwhile, Naina attracts a marriage proposal that comes with a car as a dowry, intensifying Shakeel’s financial worries. He contemplates breaking his fixed deposit, only to discover that he had already withdrawn the funds years earlier for his mother’s operation. The family’s precarious situation worsens when they learn the government plans to vacate their homes for bridge construction, placing Shakeel’s livelihood and their home at risk. In a moment of despair, Shakeel attempts to take his own life but is saved by the police, a turning point that forces him to confront the looming crisis.

Reluctantly, Shakeel agrees to join Farhan and Moon in their scheme, at first resisting their plan and then giving in to the pressure of circumstances. To fund their audacious crime, Farhan seeks help from Gogi [Salman Shahid], a local mobster, who loans him three lacs with a condition to repay six lacs. Positing as a married couple, Shakeel and Farhan open a bank account and soon find themselves entangled in a plan that spirals far beyond their control; they end up getting robbed in the course of their attempt. Moon, meanwhile, develops feelings for Hina [Kubra Khan], a bank employee who becomes part of the web of deceit and danger surrounding their actions. Moon has also borrowed money to finance a potential move to Dubai, while his entanglements with drugs and a doll tied to those debts complicate matters further.

After Jummah prayers, the trio’s plan is exposed during a strike, and they are caught on camera, forcing them to improvise their escape from the mounting consequences. As the pieces fall into place, Shakeel borrows more money from Gogi by mortgaging his home, while Gogi presses Moon for the drugs he was meant to deliver, giving them a tight deadline to repay a crore. The blame for their predicament shifts among them as tensions rise, and Shakeel collapses, only to be hauled toward the hospital. En route, they are caught in the strike again, which they use to fuel a final ruse to torch the bank, only to find the bank mysteriously empty.

An IFU insurance inspector, Samuel [Nayyar Ejaz], arrives with a claim of thirty lacs and a grave warning that he knows what they have been up to. They decide to approach Gogi again, offering thirty lacs and asking for more time, but a confrontation with a Dubai mobster escalates, and both Gogi and the new threat are killed. They return home to an unexpected clue: a phone ringing from a suitcase filled with money and jewelry. The twist reveals that Hina [Kubra Khan] had already robbed the bank before the strike to help them—an act that ultimately settles many scores. With the money in hand, Shakeel buys a new home and stabilizes his pickle business, Farhan finds happiness marrying Naina, and Moon finally achieves his dream of going to Dubai, closing a chapter that began with desperation and a reckless plan.
