Diana, Bunga Citra Lestari, and her partner Dika, Alex Abbad, share a small apartment in Kuala Lumpur and navigate a life that feels increasingly constrained by routine. Dissatisfaction gnaws at Diana as she watches her days drift by, so she accepts a job interview for an administrative position offered by “Bossman,” Reza Rahadian, a friend from their California college days. The moment she steps into the interview, the air in the office hints at trouble: many staff members whisper about Bossman, and Diana soon picks up those same uneasy opinions. Despite his wealth, Bossman comes across as eccentric, entitled, and stubborn about fixable problems, including a chaotic office structure and a stubbornly malfunctioning air conditioner that he refuses to repair.
