What Is My Back Page About?
The premise of My Back Page without spoilers.
In 1969, idealistic Sawada becomes a gonzo journalist for a weekly magazine. Two years later, with senior reporter Nakahira, he interviews activist Umeyama, who boasts his group will steal arms and act in April. Skeptical, Sawada is drawn to Umeyama’s charisma. An incident at an army post and news of a killing pull him deeper into the conflict.
