Spoilers ahead
A successful career woman, Jenna Davis [Gina Philips] is preparing to go on maternity leave when her doctor advises bed-rest. Her pregnancy care will then involve a nurse who makes routine home visits to monitor her health. When a seemingly pleasant nurse, Lynn Mallory, arrives, she administers a set of vitamins that unexpectedly knock Jenna out.
Jenna awakens in the hospital to find Tom Robbins [Warren Christie] is the father of her baby, a child she had named Madeline, a fact he hadn’t even known about. A doctor then delivers shocking news: Madeline was stillborn.
