Motu Patlu: King of Kings 2016

In a lively circus, a vegetarian lion named Guddu Ghalib performs tricks such as juggling vegetables and riding a unicycle. During one act, he accidentally starts a fire, triggering chaos that sends him fleeing inside the trunk of a car. He ends up in Furfuri Nagar, where his presence unsettles the locals. Mistaking him for a costumed performer, Motu and Patlu eventually realize he is a real lion with genuine circus skills. With the help of an animal-translation device, they learn that Guddu longs to return to the jungle.

Patlu suggests sending Guddu to a national park, given that he lacks practical survival skills. In the jungle, Narasimha leads a team of poachers who capture King Singha, the jungle’s lion ruler, in search of hidden gold. The animals resist, but Narasimha captures the king and begins exploiting the ecosystem.

Motu and friends, unaware of Narasimha’s true plan, are misled into thinking King Singha is a threat. After a misunderstanding, they confront the true king, who warns them about Narasimha. Motu realizes the danger too late; King Singha is fatally wounded while saving other animals during an attack. Before dying, he asks Motu to protect the jungle.

Motu, Patlu, and their allies try to mobilize the animals with Guddu impersonating King Singha. Reluctantly, Guddu agrees. Narasimha then enlists a mad scientist to unleash genetically modified creatures called Donthers and later a formidable hybrid beast named Goratto. Guddu leads the animal army into battle, but a moment of panic makes him turn tail, leaving Motu disheartened.

Motu persists in rallying the creatures to resist even without Guddu, and the others gradually regain hope. After an introspective pause, Guddu finds renewed courage and rejoins the fight. His roar sparks renewed vigor among the animals as they push back Narasimha’s men. In the climactic clash, Guddu defeats Goratto, while Motu and Patlu prevail over Narasimha and his supporters.

Peace returns, and the animal kingdom honors Guddu as the new king. Narasimha’s faction is captured, and the jungle is saved.
