Rajan Vasudev is an intolerable business tycoon who runs the great OPM Group of companies, a sprawling empire that stretches across the globe. He methodically toppled rival firms by buying out or taking majority shares, turning every acquisition into another step toward total dominance. The driving force behind his cold ambition is a personal history that still stings: his wife was killed twenty years ago by a rival mafia, a wound that hardened him and steered his ruthless business tactics. His only son, Udhay Vasudev, is a spoiled young heir who rolls through life in a flashy Ferrari, spends lakhs of rupees daily, and inhabits one of Chennai’s most opulent houses. Udhay is the sponsor and constant companion of Madhan, who lives with him along with a local friend Kadukku and a cadre of twelve bodyguards. This life of excess is interrupted when Udhay crosses paths with Easwari, a music student he meets by chance in the city. He falls head over heels, and, in a mix of charm and coercion, he blackmails her by claiming she damaged his car and owes him 10 lakh in damages. In a comic twist, he makes her his domestic help, all part of a misguided plan to get close to her. Madhan, drawn to Easwari, also falls for her, creating a web of affection that complicates the already brittle balance of Rajan’s world.

An assassin is hired by Rajan’s rival after the rival’s son-in-law succumbs to pressure and takes his own life. The target is Udhay, the heir who stands at the center of the empire. In a bizarre turn of events, the hitman inadvertently kills Madhan, and Rajan is heartbroken to learn that Madhan is actually his biological son while Udhay is only a proxy. Unaware of this revelation, Udhay continues to spend lavishly, and soon his life unravels: he is thrown out of his house, his bank accounts are wiped clean, and multiple assassination attempts assault him from every direction. A sea of danger and deception leads him to a chance encounter with Rajan in ragged clothes, where the truth starts to surface.

Rajan finally reveals the truth and challenges Udhay to survive three days without the protection and privilege of the status he was born into, promising not to disclose the secret to anyone else. Cast out and stripped of his comforts, Udhay spends a harrowing night on the streets. He travels to Mumbai to seek Easwari, who, he discovers, is the daughter of the chairman of the very wealthy Lakshmiraman. Although Easwari could potentially bring immense influence by holding enough shares to make her the next chairwoman, her stepmother’s relatives block her claim because Easwari’s parents were not Hindi-speaking by birth. Facing this barrier, Easwari rejects the claim and returns to Chennai with Udhay, who remains determined to teach Rajan a lesson.

Back in Chennai, Udhay engineers a cunning plan: he gathers Rajan’s daily staff and convinces them to pretend that they have forgotten him for two days. The result is swift and crushing—Rajan is barred from entering his own office, his personal belongings vanish, and he is forced to sleep on the streets. When he tries to report the situation to the police, he faces a disturbing twist: posters bearing his name display someone else’s face, and he’s briefly arrested on false charges before being released. Once freed, he is quickly recognized by those who know him, and he returns to his office to reclaim his place in the empire.

With Udhay acting as the de facto chairman in his father’s absence, a general body meeting is scheduled to formally confirm him as the successor. He uses leverage to compel Rajan to stay silent about the truth: reveal the family’s secret to the public, and Udhay will resign from the company. Rajan agrees, or so it seems. An assassin is dispatched again—this time the rivals still believe Udhay is Rajan’s son—and Rajan, in a surprising act of manipulation, pretends that he is the son while expressing pride in his real heir. The killer turns the gun on Rajan, not Udhay, and Rajan is wounded as Udhay gives chase and apprehends the assassin.

In a poignant moment, a dying Rajan records a video confessing the truth to the public, a message that could have changed everything for Udhay. But with this truth now on the horizon, Udhay’s next steps take on a new purpose. Guided by Chanakya, he channels the lessons learned from his father’s downfall into a lasting legacy: he establishes a charitable trust in Madhan’s memory—the same Madhan who helped shape his life—ensuring that Easwari’s world and his love continue to move forward. The story ends with a note of reconciliation and a new beginning, where personal loss fuels a more hopeful future.
