The 90‑minute retrospective aired on CBS November 25, 1991 as part of “Classic Weekend II,” alongside specials honoring Bob Newhart and Ed Sullivan. It showed clips from over sixty episodes and was devised by Michael Hirsh, who also produced “Making M*A*S*H,” to mark the show’s twentieth anniversary.
