Mechanic Alludu 1993

Jagannatham, Nageshwara Rao Akkineni is a ruthless, wealthy man who twists fate to keep his sister Parvati bound to his friend Narayana. He plots with his loyal ally Kotappa, Kota Srinivasa Rao, enmeshing Jagannatham in a murder case and manipulating Parvati into giving a false statement that helps secure a conviction against him. The cruelty deepens when they even plot to kill Parvati while she is pregnant, only for a wise rescuer named Mahalakshmi to intervene. After Parvati flees the city, she gives birth to a baby boy named Ravi, setting the stage for a new generation to face the fallout of these scheming moves.

Years pass, and Ravi grows into a lively, restless young man who bickers at every job and frequently loses his employment. At the same time, he clashes with Chitti, the daughter of Jagannatham who runs a hotel in the neighborhood, a girl who doesn’t hesitate to stand up to him. In the present, Jagannatham lives as a mechanic, and a turning point arrives when Ravi saves him from trouble with a dancer, earning him a job in Jagannatham’s workshop. From there, a string of light-hearted misadventures unfolds, and the bond between Ravi and Chitti blossoms into love.

As the relationship strengthens, Jagannatham slowly gives his blessing for their engagement. Yet, on the eve of the wedding, a fit of anger rises in Jagannatham, who misjudges Ravi as a mere relative and rejects the alliance. The story pivots on a new alliance of purpose: Jagannatham and Ravi realize they share a common goal to take on Narayana.
