Yuva, Yash, is a local goon who shares a cramped life with his mother Durga, his sister, and his sister’s young son Lochan. Durga, [Suhasini Maniratnam], disapproves of many of Yuva’s antics and hopes to guide him toward the courage she once imagined for him through stories about Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad, and Bhagat Singh. But Yuva is the opposite: carefree, impulsive, and impatient with rules. To shape public perception, Durga agrees to a TV interview about his upbringing, which paints Yuva as a rogue in the eyes of the community and sets an uphill path for him to prove otherwise.

Into this unstable world steps Noor Ahmed, [Achyuth Kumar], a local politician who uses college and local elections to build influence, and his loyal ally Bruce Lee, [Chikkanna], who helps Yuva tighten his grip on power and become more entangled with the city’s dirty politics. Amidst the power plays, Yuva also falls for a carefree girl named Nisha, giving his life a new, unexpected color.

The relationship takes a dramatic turn when Nisha is swept into a dangerous chase between the police and the gangster Boss, [P. Ravi Shankar]. In a moment of bold action, Yuva knocks Boss unconscious, sending him into a coma. Boss’s hospital stay triggers a wave of threats against Yuva’s family from Boss’s increasingly desperate henchmen. Lochan is kidnapped and later returned unharmed, and Durga is briefly trapped in a storage closet inside a temple where Yuva pulls her away from danger and intoxication. A police commissioner who has already seen the interview mocks Yuva’s pleas, underscoring how the system is tainted and untrustworthy. Realizing his loved ones are at greater risk, Yuva begins to reassess his laid-back lifestyle and the way he fights back.

A mall outing turns tense when Nisha disappears, and Yuva receives a chilling call from Danny, Boss’s brother. To save Nisha, Yuva reluctantly agrees to assist Boss in an escape from the hospital. The plan backfires, leaving Yuva and Nisha unconscious and staining Yuva with a drug-smuggling frame. Noor Ahmed and Bruce Lee move them to a hidden refuge, where a troubling moment unfolds: Durga voices a fear that Yuva’s life may end at the hands of the authorities, provoking a visceral clash that erupts around Durga.

With his family’s honor on the line, Yuva resolves to prove his innocence by taking the fight to Boss and his men. He and Bruce Lee stage a bold operation, capturing Boss, Danny, and their right-hand cadre. They plan to document the takedown on video, and Boss—in a tense confession—admits that corrupt cops have long fed the cocaine trade and declares that India cannot change. This revelation steels Yuva’s resolve: he will protect his homeland by promising that illegal drugs will no longer infiltrate local stores.

In a climactic, Dirty Harry–style showdown, Yuva defeats Boss and his henchmen, and the evidence goes viral, sparking national sympathy and support for the young reformist. The victory lands him in prison, but not alone in spirit—Durga visits him with carrot halwa, and when she leaves, she sees Bhagat Singh’s bravery reflected in her son, a moment that makes her a proud mother.

The film threads together themes of family loyalty, political manipulation, and personal transformation, painting a portrait of a young man who starts as a street fighter and becomes a symbol of integrity for a country plagued by corruption.
