The film adapts Hong Kong’s beloved “Master Q” comic, known for its short, eight‑panel situational gags that resemble newspaper strips. It follows Master Q and his pals Mr. Chung and Potato as they search for work, only to cause a traffic crash that wipes the memories of Mandy (Cecilia Cheung) and Fred (Nicholas Tse). Their amnesia turns them into rivals, but with Master Q and Potato’s meddling, true love eventually brings the pair back together.
