Karan is a poor mechanic who works hard in the countryside to provide a stable life for his daughter, Suman. With marriage plans for Suman on the horizon, he decides to chase a better future by traveling to Dubai to earn enough money. He entrusts Suman to his old friend, Kishan, a wealthy businessman in the city who offers to shelter her while he is away.

In the city, Prem, Kishan’s son, befriends Suman and reassures her that a boy and a girl can be true friends without any romance getting in the way. Their budding friendship is tested at a party hosted by Seema, the daughter of Kishan’s business partner Ranjeet, where Jeevan, Ranjeet’s arrogant nephew, humbles them and challenges the idea that their relation is only platonic.

Suman leaves the party in tears, and both she and Prem begin to realize the depth of their feelings for each other. Prem’s mother, Kaushalya Choudhary, supports the match, but Kishan disapproves, swayed by Ranjeet’s insinuations that Suman is using Kishan’s hospitality to climb into wealth. The tension between old loyalties and new love escalates until Karan returns home and confronts Kishan, accusing him of mistreating his daughter. A fierce quarrel drives a wedge between the families, and Karan and Suman return to their village deeply humiliated.

Determined to prove himself, Prem takes up hard work as a truck driver and laborer in a nearby quarry, hoping to earn the money needed to marry Suman. After a grueling month, he succeeds in earning the required amount, but fate adds a new twist: on the way to Karan’s house, he is ambushed by Jeevan and a gang of thugs, and the cash is badly damaged in the fight. When Prem pleads his case, Karan initially dismisses the effort as insufficient, but the younger man begs for another chance, and his genuine resolve gradually moves Karan to consent to the marriage.

Meanwhile, trouble deepens when Ranjeet claims to Kishan that Karan killed his son. Believing this, Kishan travels to Karan’s village, only to discover that Prem is alive and well. The confrontation intensifies as Jeevan, Ranjeet, and their supporters abduct Suman. Prem, Karan, and Kishan join forces to bring down the gang and reclaim Suman.

In the climactic sequence, Jeevan is chased to a cliff as Prem and his allies close in. Suman clings to a branch, and Prem lowers himself with a rope to reach her. Jeevan fights back, but the dove — the same one Suman had once stopped from harming him — turns on Jeevan, pecking him in the face so he loses his grip and plummets. A mining bomb explodes nearby as the tension peaks, but Prem, Suman, and their allies manage to escape to safety. The struggle ends with the estrangement healed and the families coming together.

At last, Prem and Suman marry and begin their new life together, while Karan and Kishan reconcile, acknowledging that their bond of friendship and family is stronger than pride. They all look forward to a hopeful, happily-ever-after future.
