In Palermo, Sicily, 2017, twenty-five years after the assassinations of anti-mafia judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, skeptical photographer Letizia Battaglia reflects on the events. As tributes are held to honor the judges, she observes and criticizes the opportunism of individuals, including businessman Cicchio Mira, who seem to exploit the commemorations for personal gain. Battaglia, a chronicler of their fight against the Mafia, questions the motives of those involved and the state of affairs decades later.
