What Is Lösegeld About?
The premise of Lösegeld without spoilers.
Nina Hausen, who runs an escort agency, is attacked during a nighttime walk in the forest while walking her dog. She narrowly escapes by hitting her assailant with her car, leaving him injured. Returning home, she discovers a bag of diamonds in her car – seemingly the ransom from a kidnapping. Despite a colleague’s urging to report the robbery, Nina hides the diamonds, unknowingly setting off a chain of increasingly dangerous events.
