Ji-Hoo, the latest addition to a PR firm, quickly becomes the object of admiration among his colleagues for his striking appearance, professionalism, and kindness. This admiration even extends to the mysterious Ji-Woo, who harbors a secret crush on him while maintaining her aloof demeanor. Meanwhile, the grumpy department manager, Mr. Hwang, sarcastically dubs him “Mr. Perfect.” However, beneath this perfect exterior lies a distressing truth; a series of unexpected events leads Ji-Hoo to unintentionally reveal his vulnerabilities to Ji-Woo. With an overwhelming sense of shame, he confesses his struggles with self-esteem and his unusual longing to be emotionally dominated by a strong woman.

In an unexpected twist, Ji-Woo, who has her own hidden complexities, candidly opens up to Ji-Hoo about her naturally assertive personality—a trait she often suppresses at work to avoid being seen as “cold and scary” by male colleagues. This revelation strikes a chord with Ji-Hoo, as he perceives Ji-Woo as the perfect match for his submissive tendencies. With an intriguing proposition in mind, he proposes that they embark on a formally defined mistress-submissive relationship, all while misleading her about his lack of romantic interest—much to her disappointment.

Portrayed by Seohyun, Ji-Woo’s character embraces this unconventional dynamic with an open mind. Although her confidence is apparent, she is entirely new to the realm of kink. However, her affection for Ji-Hoo drives her to adapt, navigating this new terrain eagerly, with the hope of eventually evolving their relationship into a more traditional romance—if she can manage to maintain the facade long enough.
