Spoilers ahead
In 1983, ten-year-old Logan Fallon, Eddie Cibrian, witnesses a brutal night when Mafia thugs murder his family—the innocent younger sister Jessica, and their parents Nicolas and Terry—along with five police officers. The tragedy shatters his world, but nothing can erase the truth that Logan survived through a rare gift: proximity sense, the uncanny ability to sense danger before it arrives. This extraordinary instinct is first tested when it repeatedly proves lifesaving, yet is dismissed as mere child’s imagination by those who ought to believe him, including his paternal uncle Jake Fallon, Chuck Norris, a seasoned Army Ranger and recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross, and Ben, James Gammon, the boy’s maternal grandfather who helps raise him on a rugged Taos, New Mexico, ranch.
