What Is Lisa, Tosca of Athens About?
The premise of Lisa, Tosca of Athens without spoilers.
Lisa (Xenia Kalogeropoulou) flees her father's control at the Athens airport to avoid a arranged marriage with a wealthy Parisian. She hitchhikes into the city, meets attractive driver Giorgos (Kostas Kakkavas), and then abandons him to search for her estranged maternal uncle, Iordanis. Her father publicizes her photo and offers a 100,000‑drachma reward, prompting Lisa to hide among a tourist group—unaware that her uncle is their guide. Giorgos tracks her down, returns in his car, and they spend the night together, while she remains fearful of being recognized.
