What Is Learning to Drive About?
The premise of Learning to Drive without spoilers.
Following a difficult divorce, a Manhattan-based writer, Wendy, realizes she needs to become more self-reliant and learns she must also learn to drive. She enlists the help of Darwan, a patient and kind Indian taxi driver, for lessons. As they navigate the city streets together, their disparate lives intertwine, leading to an unexpected friendship. Through shared experiences and mutual support, both Wendy and Darwan find themselves on a path toward personal growth, new possibilities, and a sense of freedom.
