The premise of Kunoichi: Deadly Mirage without spoilers.
Set in Japan’s Edo era, the Tokugawa shogunate, fearing loss of power, hires the Shinsengumi to overthrow the Imperial Court. The Satsuma clan uncovers the plot and sends the five remaining kunoichi of the Hiryu ninja clan to spy on the Shinsengumi. Meanwhile, a skeletal demon awakens, determined to slay the kunoichi and threaten world destruction.
