Dhanasekaran lives off-grid in a secluded farmhouse with his devoted servant Murugan and his dog Subu, carrying the weight of a traumatic past as an ex-policeman. He also harbors a rare ability to read people’s minds, a gift that his former boss, Raghuram, uses to crack complex cases outside the official channels. The dynamic between them sets the tone for a story where truth and justice blur, and personal demons intrude on every decision.

One such case centers on the rape and murder of a young girl, with the killer identified as Naushad and handed over to Dhana for interrogation. The scene quickly turns brutal as the interrogation tests Naushad’s resistance, while the looming question of guilt or innocence hangs in the air.

During this tense mission, the investigation takes a hard turn that drags the past back into the present. As Dhana confronts the moral weight of his actions and the pressure from his former employer, he is forced to confront memories of Stella, the woman he once loved. The trauma of her fate—rape and murder at the hands of her cousin Robert after she rejected him—haunts Dhana and shapes his choices as the case unfolds. The memory resurfaces as he travels, shaping his decisions and fueling his resolve.

Rather than pursue Naushad directly, Dhana shifts his focus to Abhishek, the spoiled son of a powerful lawyer. He abducts Abhishek and takes him to the farmhouse for a more private form of questioning. As the truth emerges, Dhana discovers that Abhishek is the real killer of the girl who loved Naushad, and that Naushad was framed. Abhishek is locked away in an underground cell alongside Robert, who describes the horrific torture he endures and warns that death would be a relief from the ongoing hell.

With Abhishek confessing on camera, the court sentences him to a life term. But outside the chambers, the law begins to twist: Abhishek’s father, furious at the beating his son took, confronts Dhana and, with the help of hired thugs, tries to eliminate him at the farmhouse. The attack leaves Dhana gravely injured, and he refuses medical help, dying in the same farmhouse where Stella perished thirteen years earlier. A later hearing contests the integrity of the videotape, ruling that it was coerced and acquitting Abhishek due to lack of evidence; in a brutal update, the lawyer is killed by Raghuram to make the death look accidental, and Abhishek becomes the new inmate of the underground cell, joining Robert.

The film closes on a stark, almost ceremonial note: a group photo of the new farmhouse residents—Dhana, Murugan, Subu, Naushad, and Stella (not visible to Murugan but visible to Naushad and Subu)—captured in memory and in the present, while Robert and Abhishek remain confined in the underground cell, their fate sealed by the very chain of events Dhana set in motion.
