What Is Koi About?
The premise of Koi without spoilers.
Following the 2011 tsunami that devastated Japan's northern coast and claimed over 20,000 lives, many families lost hope of finding their loved ones. This film follows two men who remain steadfast in their search. An ex-convict seeks redemption by helping families recover remains, while a bus driver begins diving to find his missing wife. Despite their vastly different backgrounds, both are driven by a powerful will to keep the memories of the lost alive.
