Kiss Her! 1940

Lisa Larsson, a theater dancer, witnesses a traffic accident and is asked by the victim’s driver to be a witness. Her friends, seeing her with the driver, think she’s engaged to the wealthy banker Brenner, prompting theater manager Gravander to give her the lead role to win Brenner’s favor. Pretending to be a journalist, Brenner summons Lisa, sparking a comedic tangle of mistaken identities.
