What Is Kidnapped About?
The premise of Kidnapped without spoilers, adapted from Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson and Donald McFarlan.
At fifteen, Davie Balfour stands to inherit a fortune, but his treacherous uncle Ebenezer lures him onto a cargo ship, knocks him out and kidnaps him, planning to sell him into slavery. A daring rescue by the roguish Scotsman Alan Breck sets Davie on a frantic escape across the Scottish moors, pursued relentlessly by English bounty hunters.
