Raja Roy Chowdhury, alias Kakababu Prosenjit Chatterjee, and his nephew Aryann Bhowmick as Santu travel to Kenya, Africa, for a vacation. They quickly hit it off with Amal, a friendly Bengali man, and settle into a pace of sun, sea, and sightseeing as they anticipate a peaceful break. But the trip soon takes a darker turn when Kakababu receives a threat call from an unknown voice, a warning that is brushed aside in the moment as he hopes for calm and relaxation to prevail.

Seeking some new scenery, they talk with the hotel’s current owner, Mr. Livingstone, who reveals that a sale is looming and hints that there are people eager to acquire the property at a bargain price. This conversation plants a seed of doubt in Kakababu’s mind, suggesting a concerted effort to push the hotel’s value down for someone else’s gain. The owner also shares troubling news about the disappearance of two German tourists, a mystery that has already taken a toll on the hotel’s business and mood.

The situation grows more complex when Mr. Livingstone notes how the Masai tribe has been involved in poaching wildlife and selling skins in protest of government policy, a detail that adds political tension to an already fragile situation. A Kenya Government official and businessman, Mr. Ninjane, invites Kakababu to visit his hotel in the Masai Mara forest, hinting at answers that might lie beyond the familiar walls of the city.

After an adventurous journey, they arrive at the hotel known as Little Viceroy. Here, Kakababu encounters a web of shady people moving quietly through the corridors and lounges, and he resolves to dig deeper, trusting his instincts and sharp investigative sense. The more he probes, the more he uncovers, pulling them into a dangerous game where every clue seems to lead to another risk.

As the tension thickens, the trip’s vacation glow fades, replaced by a persistent sense of peril. Kakababu stays calm under pressure, weighing each new piece of information, while Santu watches and learns the importance of patience and courage in the face of uncertainty. The pair presses on, determined to separate truth from rumor, even as those around them insist they should leave well enough alone.
