Jomon, Dulquer Salmaan, is introduced as the third son of Vincent, a self-made businessman and widower, in the busy town of Thrissur. The story centers on the delicate bond between father and son, with Vincent’s fondness for his boy driving a constant push to build responsibility, even as Jomon’s choices repeatedly pull the family off balance. The mood of the town and the family’s dynamics set the stage for a tale about ambition, loyalty, and the lessons that come with hardship.

Jomon falls in love with Catherine, Anupama Parameswaran, whom he meets in a church during Sunday mass. On the home front, Vincent tries to shape his son’s maturity by placing him in charge of a men’s wear store, hoping the assignment will help him grow up. Yet Jomon’s actions derail the plan: he sells the store, along with his expensive motorcycle, to the store manager for ₹40 lakh, a bold move that shocks Vincent and signals a shift toward riskier bets. It is later revealed that Jomon used the money to invest in and become the managing partner of a textile store in Tiruppur with his friend, Mushtaq, Jacob Gregory.

A financial catastrophe then strikes: Vincent loses all his property and is evicted from their home. Abandoned by other family members, he joins Jomon in Tiruppur, and the two attempt to live a modest life. The weight of their changing circumstances forces Jomon to end his relationship with Catherine, at least temporarily, as money worries ripple through the family.

Life in Tiruppur grows turbulent as their new business venture falters, largely due to Mushtaq’s extravagant lifestyle. Jomon pivots, taking a job as a salesman for a textile company. In this period, he befriends Vaidehi, Aishwarya Rajesh, an accountant at a textile firm, who becomes a pivotal figure in the evolving story. Vincent, meanwhile, struggles to adapt and supports the family by taking up work as a tailor to fund his costly smoking habit.

After a string of setbacks, Jomon, Mushtaq, and Vaidehi join forces to build a fresh business venture that rekindles hope for the family. Jomon manages to buy back Vincent’s old house, and the family finds a renewed sense of unity with the hard-earned lessons they’ve learned along the way. In a final turn of reveals, it becomes clear that Jomon has fallen in love with Vaidehi, who moves to Thrissur with her father, signaling a new chapter for the family and the community that watched them navigate adversity.
