Chuck Anderson lands a job at a newspaper and, after a promotion, is tasked with going undercover in a state prison to dig up information on the inmates. When one inmate blindsides him and leaves him hospitalized, his three loyal friends step in to finish the assignment: Slip Mahoney, Sach Jones, and Butch Williams.
