The film follows Siddharth, known as Siddhu, and his girlfriend Anasuya, or Anu, as they carve out a day off from Siddhu’s information technology job to celebrate a moment together. On their date, they cross paths with Madhav and a companion who sit in a car and pretend to be police, insisting that Siddhu and Anu accompany them or face arrest. The eerie encounter sets a troubling tone for what should be a simple outing, and the two men use the illusion of authority to press their own control over the couple.

What begins as a nerve-wracking ride quickly shifts into a test of resilience. Madhav tries to press closer to Anu while Siddhu is momentarily distracted, and a sense of fear and violation lingers long after the car stops. The situation grows heavier when the two men continue to harass them, and even though one of Madhav’s friends leaves after Siddhu’s companion intervenes on their behalf, the tension doesn’t dissipate. The ride ends without a calm conversation between Siddhu and Anu; instead, Anu withdraws, and Siddhu’s questions about what happened leave her more upset. A silent drive home follows, and Siddhu, unsettled and seeking answers, finally confronts Anu about what occurred, only to be met with silence and growing distance.

Seeking retribution for the trauma they endured, Siddhu returns to the site where he first encountered Madhav and the other man. He learns a shocking truth: Madhav is not a hardened criminal but an ambulance driver, and his companion is merely a tailor. This revelation fuels Siddhu’s decision to confront them directly at Madhav’s home. He enters the house with a bold shift in purpose and is met by Madhav’s wife, Jyothi, and their daughter, Shravya. A heated confrontation erupts when Madhav arrives, and a violent clash ensues, culminating in Siddhu breaking Madhav’s legs. The moment is a turning point; Siddhu would like to leave, but a road procession blocks his path, trapping him in this moment of confrontation. In a disturbing reversal, Siddhu begins to torture Madhav’s wife and daughter in a manner reminiscent of what he says Madhav did to him and Anu.

Madhav’s friends eventually gather outside, and he reaches for help only to be silenced by Siddhu’s threats, including a terrifying ultimatum about his daughter. Jyothi overhears the men outside and confronts Madhav, who finally confesses that he had attempted to sexually assault Anu, though she fought back. The truth lands heavily on Siddhu but, in a surprising turn, he apologizes to Jyothi and leaves the broken family to their life. Jyothi takes her daughter inside, while Madhav lies immobilized in his room. Despite everything, a tired peace returns to Siddhu, and he reconnects with Anu that same night in a fragile, uneasy calm.

The following day, Anu joins Siddhu at the beach, the place where their relationship had previously found its footing. The mood remains tense as they talk about what else he wants to know, but Siddhu shifts the conversation. He pulls Madhav’s friend out of the trunk, offering an apology and money to get the man back on his way home. Anu, still hurting, asks a piercing question: if Madhav had done something to her, would Siddhu have abandoned her? Siddhu refuses to answer, and instead changes the topic by proposing a birthday celebration for Anu. She declines, realizing that the relationship may not survive if an unspoken fear always lingers. The realization hits hard: Siddhu may not have truly understood Anu’s perspective or her boundaries, and the fear of what could have happened—and how that would have affected her—looms over their future together.

In the end, the film presents a raw examination of trust, fear, and the heavy cost of vengeance on intimate relationships.
