Kathiravan Vishal Krishna is an Indian Army Major who struggles with anger management, undergoing therapy under the care of the sharp-witted chief psychiatrist Dr. Rathi Devi Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Their professional rapport gradually deepens into something more, and on her advice, he agrees to return to his village to spend time with his father Rangaswamy Delhi Ganesh and his sister, a decision colored by long‑standing family tensions. Kathiravan’s sister’s fiancé Kesavan’s family is pressuring them to shoulder hefty wedding expenses, a burden that forces him to confront the weight of his past choices and the debt that shadowed his family.

Back in Chennai, Kathiravan tries to secure a loan to cover those marriage costs but faces one rejection after another, despite his military status. With Rangaswamy by his side, they attempt to obtain a loan in the father’s name, only to be dismissed again because of weak financial security. A man posing as a loan agent appears with a tempting offer—for a commission, he will forge documents to help them obtain credit. Kathiravan, initially reluctant, ultimately agrees and submits the forged papers, which pave the way for a loan of ₹6 lakh (about US$7,100). The moment of triumph foreshadows a harsher truth, as he discovers the money is tied to a deeper web of debt rather than a simple solution.

The dream of completing the wedding gradually collapses when Rangaswamy reveals that he borrowed funds to extend Kathiravan’s ailing mother’s life. Kathiravan’s anger shifts to heartbreak as he learns the real cost of these debts, and Rangaswamy’s attempt to withdraw the funds triggers a crisis. Overwhelmed, Rangaswamy attempts to take his own life, and the hospital visit becomes a turning point for Kathiravan, who feels a painful remorse and begins to repair the rift with his father.

With Dr. Rathi Devi’s counsel and support from his military friends, Kathiravan embarks on a quest to uncover the person behind the financial chaos. He tracks down the loan agent and follows a trail that leads to a private number that torments him, threatening to leak his sister’s private data. The agent is suddenly struck by a van, and the mysterious mastermind behind the harassment is revealed: Sathyamoorthy, known as the White Devil, the kingpin of a Dark Net operation operating under the cover of a dubious educational trust and exploiting the Y2K bug for cybercrime. The revelation redefines Kathiravan’s mission from repayment to justice, and the chase intensifies.

Kathiravan and Dr. Rathi Devi piece together the web, following Sathyamoorthy to his henchmen’s base where a laptop is used to hack accounts. A dramatic confrontation unfolds as Kathiravan and his allies frame Sathyamoorthy by siphoning funds from police accounts, a risky gambit that culminates at a server farm. The battle with Sathyamoorthy is brutal and one-sided at first; he overpowers Kathiravan and even burns the laundered money in a fit of god‑complex supremacy. Yet Kathiravan reveals that he has hacked Sathyamoorthy’s own account and redirected the stolen money, turning the tide and inciting an angry crowd to close in on the villain. The money is returned to its rightful owners, and Sathyamoorthy is arrested by the authorities. In a final twist, the defeated mastermind attempts to vanish into anonymity by adopting a new online persona—“Dark Angel”—but the real-world consequences of his crimes are left for the authorities to finish.
