Bharath [Arulnithi] is a taxi driver who leads a simple life filled with two big things: his love for Suseela [Mahima Nambiar], a compassionate nurse, and his admiration for writer Vyjayanthi [Lakshmi Ramakrishnan], whose sharp observations sometimes echo in Bharath’s own thoughts. One ride becomes a turning point when Vyjayanthi hops into his cab and notices a man with a bike that somehow mirrors the bike she believes connected to her late husband’s mysterious death. Ganesh [Ajmal Ameer] first appears as a guardian angel when he saves Suseela from a predatory driver who crosses a line. She thanks him, and for a moment the two seem to belong to separate worlds—his as a wily con artist, hers as a hopeful but wary young woman trying to build a future with Bharath. When Suseela returns home, Ganesh’s missing pendrive becomes a point of contact, and their paths cross again in a way that reveals his unsettling tendency to press himself into her life. Ganesh’s attempted pursuit of Suseela is abrupt and invasive, and he quickly makes it clear that he knows she loves Bharath and wants her to sever ties. This confrontation marks Ganesh as more than a helper—he is a threat wearing a charismatic mask.

As the couple navigates this dangerous dynamic, Roopala [Chaya Singh] enters with her own trauma. Roopala tells of an abusive husband, Vasanth [John Vijay], and a darker secret: a manipulative man who trapped her, filmed her nude, and is blackmailing her for money. Their encounter unites Bharath and Suseela in a common effort to shield Roopala from harm, and it becomes clear that Ganesh and his accomplices are at the center of a far larger web. Bharath notices that Ganesh owns the bike Vyjayanthi mentioned, weaving the novelist’s case into the present danger and hinting at how small clues can pull disparate lives into one tangled conspiracy.

The plot thickens as Murugesan [Anandaraj], a retired businessman, steps into the frame. He tries to hire female escorts but falls prey to Ganesh’s trap, losing money and jewels in the process. It doesn’t end there: Ganesh works with Anitha [Vidya Pradeep] and Maya [Suja Varunee], two partners who together prey on the wealthy through extortion and deception. The trio’s scheme is slick, cold, and methodical, and it drags Murugesan deeper into the criminal churn. Murugesan’s pursuit of Ganesh leads him to Narain Vaidyanathan [Aadukalam Naren], who unintentionally assists by providing a ride and, in the process, reveals that he himself became a victim of Ganesh’s manipulation. The connections multiply, and every lead seems to circle back to Ganesh’s inexplicable hold over others’ lives.

Bharath, driven by a mix of loyalty and a growing sense of danger, follows Ganesh to his house with the intent to recover Roopala’s damning video and to warn him off Suseela. Murugesan, too, happens to converge on Ganesh’s home at the same moment, creating a chaotic overlap that ends with a neighbor alerting the police. The investigation takes a grim turn when the police arrive and announce that Maya has been murdered, instantly casting Bharath as a suspect. He escapes custody, convinced that Murugesan must be the killer, but Murugesan reveals the devastating truth: Maya was already dead when he entered Ganesh’s space, and he had accidentally picked up the murder weapon in a moment of panic. The shifting sands of truth deepen as Bharath learns that the car Ganesh and Anitha used to con Murugesan belonged to Narain, another victim who now reveals the broad reach of Ganesh’s deception.

As the pieces fall into place, Narain recounts his own betrayal: he befriended Maya online, only to be threatened and robbed when Ganesh intervened with coercive force. The police find Narain’s car and recover it, but the deeper revelation is that Maya’s presence in Narain’s life had intertwined with Ganesh’s predatory net. Bharath tracks Vasanth, who had an affair with Anitha, and discovers that Ganesh dragged them into a dangerous scheme of blackmail and control. A confrontation erupts in which Anitha and Ganesh are killed, and Bharath exposes Roopala’s broader plan: she wanted to escape the misery of an abusive husband but also sought money, enlisting Anitha and Ganesh to mastermind the con. Ganesh, however, is plotting to double-cross Roopala and keep the entire bounty for himself. The fallout is swift: Roopala and Vasanth are arrested, and Bharath is exonerated and ultimately marries Suseela, his long-suffering love.

Just when the dust seems to settle, Vyjayanthi reappears with a new, unsettling twist. She has been quietly following Maya’s murder and calls Bharath, proposing to write a book based on the case. She presents a shifted version of events in which Ganesh’s obsession for Suseela leads him to film her nude and threaten her, casting doubt on the integrity of the story Bharath has been living. Faced with this alternate narrative, Bharath asks Vyjayanthi to propose a new arc that will do justice to the truth as he sees it. As Bharath digs deeper, Maya’s interference re-emerges: she urges a split of shares into three, threatening to reveal Suseela’s relationship with Bharath if Ganesh does not acknowledge the scheme. The confrontation escalates to a final clash at Ganesh’s house, where Maya attacks Bharath but is killed by Suseela in a decisive moment. The couple then erases the incriminating videos and, in a calculated move, Bharath plants the murder weapon—which Murugesan had taken by mistake—into Ganesh’s car, framing Ganesh for Maya’s murder.

In the present, Bharath remains unsettled by Vyjayanthi’s rewritten plot and seeks a path that will reflect the truth rather than a sensational retelling. His pursuit ends with Vyjayanthi’s own murder, a chilling reminder that the story may be more dangerous than any of the characters anticipated. The film closes on a haunting note, leaving the question of Vyjayanthi’s killer unresolved and inviting the audience to decide which narrative finally holds true.
