Interceptor Force 2 2002

Over Grozny, Russia, a pair of fighter jets chase an unidentified spacecraft moving at supersonic speeds. Within minutes, the alien craft outmaneuvers the jets and blasts them from the sky. Moments later, residents report a “meteor” streaking across the city, landing somewhere in the distant hills.

Jack Bavaro, [Nigel Bennett], head of the Alpha Force, calls in [Olivier Gruner] to lead a new mission. Lambert is the sole survivor of the first Alpha mission four years earlier in Mexico, where his team was killed while attempting to capture a single extraterrestrial specimen. To take on this renewed threat, Dawn DeSilva joins the team as science officer, along with Bjorn Hatch, Nathan McAllister, and Adriana Sikes. Together with other operatives, they head toward Grozny to locate the alien.

The squad traces the crash to a ruined Russian nuclear plant, where holes blasted in razor fencing and thick concrete walls show the spacecraft is inside. They seal off the exits, turning the plant into a trap. Inside, the alien — a creature that wields a laser weapon, can change its appearance, and regenerate from a single tissue sample — eliminates team members one by one. The threat escalates when the alien reveals a plan to explode all the uranium fuel rods, creating a lethal radiation cloud over Europe that could quickly spread to the rest of the world.

Lambert and the remaining Alpha Force members race against time, with a hard deadline of 60 minutes to save themselves and the Earth from nuclear doom. As the clock ticks, they must outmaneuver a predator that adapts to every barrier and trap, battling through confinement, mutating threats, and radioactive danger, all while a global catastrophe looms on the horizon.
