Adhi Shankar is a prominent figure in the Malayalam film scene, known for his commanding presence and a lifestyle that frequently clashes with both his peers and the people around him. His personal life is a tangled web: he maintains a serious relationship with a retailer, Aishu, while also having a clandestine affair with the married co-actor Karthika Lakshmi. These entanglements, coupled with professional disappointments and mounting financial pressure, set the stage for a fall from grace that robs him of stability in surprising ways.

Everything shifts when Anjali, posing as a devoted fan, traps Adhi in her flat. She’s not alone—her co-conspirator, Sharath, helps keep him captive for several days, hijacking his life by exploiting access to his smartphone. As Adhi’s attempts to escape stall, the pair works methodically to dismantle the foundations of his reputation and private life, deploying his own social media to sow confusion and manipulate those around him.

The two-notch plan extends beyond mental and emotional cruelty: they impersonate Adhi online, reach out to his manager, and pull off a shocking heist of trust, extracting a staggering 1.5 crores in cash. It’s revealed that Anjali is in a desperate situation herself, with her family facing eviction from their home by the bank after owing the same amount. The money is intended to keep the family afloat, and in a cruel twist, the moment the cash changes hands, Anjali and Sharath release Adhi, hoping the blow to his life will also bruise his standing with others.

Yet the police’s skepticism and Adhi’s own reactions complicate the aftermath. Despite reporting the incident, the authorities hesitate, worried about how the revelation might tarnish Adhi’s public image. A calculated narrative is spun: Anjali and Sharath present an alternative version in which Adhi is the abusive partner, a version that gains traction and strains Adhi’s credibility with the law and the press.

The fallout is brutal. Adhi’s mother and Aishu distance themselves, with Aishu choosing to leave, and Karthika’s husband confronting Adhi about a looming divorce. Frustrated and humiliated, Adhi’s instinct to retaliate grows stronger. He confronts Anjali and Vinod (Sharath’s alias) as the banks prepare for an imminent property attachment, hoping to recover his life on his own terms.

In a tense turn of events, Anjali and Vinod stash the 1.5 crores in a secure place within Anjali’s compound, hoping to convert it into white money to satisfy the bank’s demands. Time runs short, and as the bank officers arrive to initiate the attachment proceedings, sounds from an outhouse reveal a startling scene: Adhi is inside, having been imprisoned as part of the escalating confrontation. The situation explodes into a controversy that brings police to the scene, with Adhi accusing Anjali of kidnapping and extorting him, and insisting that he and Anjali had a relationship.

In the ensuing commotion, Jomi, Adhi’s manager, discovers a hint of another truth upstairs and guides Adhi toward it. The truth unfolds when Adhi learns the house belongs to Aanandhan, a producer who once pursued him to star in a long-delayed project. Aanandhan’s daughter Anjali had orchestrated the scheme, using Adhi as a tool to save the family home. The deception leads to the couple’s arrest, but the weight of Aanandhan’s deteriorating health shifts Adhi’s feelings. He withdraws the case and persuades the bank to grant more time to the owners.

Because of Adhi’s intervention, Anjali and Vinod return the 1.5 crores to his shooting set, and the film’s course shifts toward reconciliation. In a gesture that hints at moving forward, Adhi pledges to collaborate on another project under Aanandhan’s banner to help service the loans and invites Anjali and Vinod to his wedding with Karthika, signaling a fragile but hopeful path to mending the shattered relationships and rebalancing the financial storm that threatened to derail everything.
