
Popular crooner Russ Raymond quits his peak career and enlists in the Navy as Tommy Halstead. Reporter Dorothy Roberts discovers his true identity and follows him, hoping for a sensational photograph. Aboard the USS Alabama, Tommy allies with shipmates Smokey and Pomeroy, who conceal him while Dorothy schemes to catch him in the act.
