Hudugaru 2011

Three friends—Prabhu, Puneeth Rajkumar, Chandru, Rangayana Raghu, and Siddesh, Yogesh—share a dream of government jobs and a future in Dubai. Sudhir, Prabhu’s best friend, falls for the daughter of a powerful business tycoon, and the group steps in to help him win her heart, hoping to secure happiness for their friend.

Prabhu decides to kidnap the businessman’s daughter, with Chandru and Siddesh by his side, hoping this drastic move will pave the way for Sudhir’s happiness. The plan quickly spirals out of control: Prabhu takes a heavy blow to the forehead, Chandru loses his right leg, and Siddesh becomes deaf.

Back home, the trio’s fortunes take another grim turn. Prabhu loses the love he once cherished, Siddesh is pushed out from the family, and Chandru, now dealing with his own loss, finds Pavitra, Abhinaya (Prabhu’s sister), as a life partner.

The story pivots when Sudhir’s marriage ends amid quarrel with Sushma, Ramya Barna. The three return to the same place where they were wounded and confront the lovers to understand why they separated, forcing a reckoning with the consequences of their rash actions.
