Stan Butler, a bus driver for the Town & District company, earns a reputation for chaotic mishaps on the road. His partner in mischief is Jack Harper, and their ever-watchful supervisor, the stern Inspector Blakey, keeps a close eye on every blunder. What begins as a string of near-disasters at the garage forecourt soon spirals into a full day of accidents: one incident leaves Blakey injured after a wardrobe mishap distracts Stan, another blunder has Jack reversing into the depot manager’s car and trapping him beneath the bonnet, and a final crash wrecks two buses when a third vehicle collides with Stan’s ride.
