In 1983, washed‑out junkie Dick is startled by the sudden arrival of his sleazy former cellmate Bug. Bug, clueless about the era, needs a rapid lesson in ’80s music, new drugs and the mysterious wall‑mounted machines that spit out cash. Inspired by the cash‑dispensing devices, Dick sees an opportunity and begins to devise a plan.
