Spoilers ahead
Kat and Doug, a dog and cat respectively, have recently tied the knot and settle into a small, aging house that feels cozy yet a little worn by time. They share a simple but earnest dream: open their own bakery and keep their love thriving “forever.” The two walk through this plan with a gentle optimism—Kat as a steady, practical force in an ad agency setting and Doug as a supportive partner who hesitantly agrees to the baking venture. Their first real test comes in the kitchen, where they bake cupcakes that turn their home into a warm, scented haven. But disaster strikes when the oven suddenly cracks, turning their dream moment into a scramble for a solution.
