The premise of Healing without spoilers. The whole story is in the plot summary further down.
Viktor Kahdem, nearing the end of his hope, is incarcerated in a low-security prison farm where rehabilitation is still attempted. Case Worker Matt Perry runs a distinctive program, tasking inmates with caring for injured raptors—majestic eagles, falcons, and owls—to help them heal and rebuild their lives. Matt chooses Viktor as his primary test case, introducing him to Yasmine, a magnificent wedge-tailed eagle. The film explores whether these two damaged individuals can find redemption by helping each other.
