The film opens with an opening shot of the Gandhi residence, then rewinds to reintroduce the cast. Hasmukh Gandhi, Siddharth Randeria, is a happy-go-lucky man whose stress-free life is interrupted when his daughter, Tanisha, Dipna Patel, returns home with her boyfriend Montu, Alekh Sangal. Tanisha is a die-hard fan of Sonia Kapoor, and Montu promises to arrange a meeting with her. Montu goes to Ahmedabad on a challenge to prove he can win any girl and even offers a partnership in his upcoming project to Hasmukh, which is rejected because Hasmukh sees through Montu’s manipulative nature. Yet the family is charmed by Montu’s swagger, and Hasmukh decides to protect Tanisha by thinking of a plan: to mislead her with a staged romance with Bakul Buch, Jimit Trivedi.
