Güllü lives in Gırgıriye with mother Sabahat, uncle Bekir, sister Sevim and aunt Rabiş. Sabahat watches a purse, threatening anyone who takes cents. Drums play, family stops fighting and dances. Their husbands—Bayram, Münir and Bekir—spend time drinking, chasing women or gambling. Güllü attracts admirers, boss Deli Ömer. One day Sabahat, enraged, throws Münir, Bayram, Sevim and Rabiş out.
