Gretchen: Road Movie (2010): Cast

“I’m not a politician. I’m a woman, just like you.” In 2008 Gretchen, the “Booty Queen,” split her time between twerking on stage and campaigning for mayor of Itamaracá Island in Pernambuco. The documentary follows her journey from village circuses across northeast Brazil, showing her battles with political rivals and her new audience of voters.
