Goliath II follows a tiny, determined elephant who stands out in a vast jungle because of his size. This eight-year-old Indian elephant is described as a miniature when compared to his kin, roughly a few centimeters tall in comparison to the others, and his height becomes as much a part of his identity as his dreams. While his father is the symbol of strength and stature, he barely notices his son, leaving the youngster longing for recognition. His mother, however, offers warmth and protection, creating a counterbalance to his father’s neglect. The tension between desire for approval and the reality of his world sets the stage for a journey that tests courage, loyalty, and a cub’s sense of belonging.
